Sarah Marie

Sarah McCabe is a holistic wellness practitioner, yoga teacher, and licensed massage therapist. Since 2016, she has devoted her life to helping others restore balance and harmony in body, mind, and spirit.

She discovered yoga at age 18 after years of high-intensity competitive sports led to deep physical burnout. Yoga offered her profound relief and she’s been hooked ever since. Her journey led her to complete her teacher training at Siddhi Yoga Institute in Dharamsala, India, where she immersed herself in traditional Hatha yoga, pranayama, meditation, Ayurveda, and yogic philosophy.

Sarah blends mindful movement, breathwork, somatic awareness, and hands-on adjustments with a trauma-informed approach. Her classes are deeply grounding, intuitive, and infused with her background in massage therapy and Ayurveda.

Sarah has taught multiple styles of yoga in a wide variety of settings—from corporate offices at Facebook and IBM, to community centers like YMCA, and yoga studios such as Be the Change Yoga in San Jose and Sedona Hot Yoga in Arizona.

With a nurturing presence and a trauma-informed lens, Sarah creates a safe and sacred space for self-discovery, healing, and transformation on and off the mat.

Janet Demeter

Janet became a committed student of yoga with her 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2025, recognizing that her daily routine of sun salutations and other asanas had been keeping her healthy through some big life-changes. She had discovered “My Yoga Canyon Country” studio, founded by Michelina Payetta in Santa Clarita, a few months before her move up to Dunsmuir on Mount Shasta in April of 2023. When the teacher training program there was first offered in January of 2025 she commuted down each month for the weekend intensive, graduating in June of 2025. She began the tantric practice of the sacred dance of the 21 Praises of Tara with the Tara Dhatu Organization in March 2025. Her karma yoga offerings include coordinating efforts to care for local homeless cats, and she is a student with the community Death Doula training program at Heartbloom Yoga.
